3 Types Of Winterization For A Home
Dry Heat, Steam Heat, and Radiant Heat.
Radiant heat systems are also known as “a wet system“,”hot water system, “hot water baseboard system” and combinations or variations of these. Radiant heat systems are comprised of boilers that heats water that circulates in radiators or tubing throughout the building.
Dry heating systems are easily identified by incorporating air ducts and vents. Dry heat systems may also be called “forced hot air heat system.”
Steam heat systems have a boiler that creates steam. A steam producing boiler supplies steam to radiators which heat the building.
Note that radiant heat uses hot water and steam heat uses steam.
